How to Live with a Ghost

Newspaper reporter Jess McCallister dreamed of finding an old house with character where she could put down roots and leave the drama of her dating history behind. With its echoing, timeworn rooms and historic past, Fox Hollow has everything she wants and one thing she doesn’t: a ghost with a track record of getting rid of the previous owners.

When her only neighbor turns out to be reclusive novelist Dan Sinclair, the two form an unlikely partnership to discover the fate of a man who vanished in a massive tornado a century ago. As she follows her journalist’s instincts, Jess becomes more deeply entangled in a modern day mystery: who is vandalizing the forgotten pioneer cemetery on her land, and is it the same unknown assailant who is trying to run her out of Sand Creek Township? Or will the Fox Hollow ghost live up to its reputation and turn Jess’s dream home into a nightmare first?

As odd incidents turn sinister, Jess realizes there’s more at stake than helping a ghost find closure; the forces who want her gone will stop at nothing to make her leave, and on top of it all, she’s fallen in love. Jess finds herself swept into an adventure she didn’t sign up for as her determination to live her lifelong dream is overshadowed by the danger of losing her heart again.
